Instrument Family Cards

A sorting game that groups instruments by skin, wood and metal. Explaining the difference through material gives children a reason, not just a label.

How to use it

1. Cut and shuffle the cards. Set the three family labels aside.
2. Play each sound from the on-screen instrument guide and let the child place it under a family.
3. Listen to one family in a row. The resemblance becomes audible.
4. Ask them to find classroom objects that belong to the same family.
